Store Sensitive Data Workaround (Windows)

I have been playing around with basic encryption of text for storage in another program.

However, with several posts over the past few months with some of you wishing to keep some stuff private in the notes while still having the syncing turned on, so  I thought I would share this temporary solution.

if you wrap your text with "pipe" symbols it encrypts as below.

The encrypt button also copies the encrypted text to clipboard (windows) ready for pasting into your program

To Decode should you want/need to ether:

1) Paste directly into box and click Decode.
or
2) Tick the checkbox then perform copy from source - clipboard content will then automatically be decoded when the program next checks

 

Its freeware, and come with no warrantly, and has only been tested on Vista Home Premium x64, if it helps you consider it a blessing.. however I would still counsel you to respect any Data Protection Laws in your
Country, and to think carefully before you put any sensitive info into
Logos, however, this may be a temporary solution if you feel you must.
