On the task bar, I would like the shortcuts section to be variable in size so that those without shortcuts could view the entire task bar rather than having the supplement (tail) to expand at the bottom. I prefer a design where all the taskbar icons are visible unless I explicitly hide them. It allows the icons to do their job an remind me of what features are available and how to access them.
On the context menu, please add the grammatical role and the semantic role to left side of the menu - you've done a great job of hiding essential information that most lay people understand or are easily taught while highlighting the information (parsing) that is easily misunderstood/abused. On the right side (action) please add links to the definitions of the values that are shown on the left. These are usually glossaries or other documentation primarily from Logos.
On the dynamic resource task bar please move the Find function and Send hyperlinks here from the panel menu to the dynamic resource task bar. Because linked sets and the Search are already in the task bar, these have become exceptions to the rule so that they are looked for first on the taskbar and then looked for on the panel menu. Consistency is essential for a smooth user interface experience.
On the Bible resource panel, please make both sidebars tabbed so that one can switch between translate/insight and table of contents/favorites simply by changing tabs. Changing tabs is a much more natural action than returning to the dynamic resource menu.
Create a keyboard shortcut that brings up a chart of the Logos shortcuts - similar to what would appear on a sticker for the keyboard.
These changes would not make the user interface what I would design for my personal preferences but it would resolve most of the places where I find friction in the interface. And they are unlikely to interfere with the evolution of the interface given the current trajectory of new feature development.
