MPS teaches that we should put a one volume commentary that covers the whole Bible in the short cuts bar. That way we can easily access the commentaries without opening a guide. We can then go from one to another.
I have JFB in the short cuts bar.
I have an English and a Greek text opened to I John 2:5. I clicked on JFB and it went to Dt 33:2-4
In my standard layout, I also have the Septuagint and two Hebrew Bibles open. None of them are at that passage.
I went to a passage in the OT, Proverbs something. There was that red line at the top showing which is the active tab. The JFB went to the same passage.
I opened the BKC from my library and it went to the passage in the JFB. I put the BKC in my short cuts bar. I had my Bible opened to I John 2.5 and even highlighted the passage. I clicked on the BKC and it opened to the same passage in Deuteronomy as the JFB, and the JFB was closed.
What am I missing?
