May I use the "Add to Print Library" feature to evaluate books for purchase?

If I could have Logos "Books" searches include unowned books that have been recommended to me or have somehow caught my interest, that might help me to make purchase decisions. For example, search results might reveal:

1. Hmm, I'm my library is lacking on this topic
2. but oh look, it's in that book that my pastor mentioned in his sermon a while back! : )

I think the "Add to Print Library" feature could be functional for this, seems like perfect for this, BUT would adding books that I don't yet own be a violation of the license/terms?

You can add any kind of book you want to your Print Library with violating a license.

Many users have used this just for their own print library, but you could also add volumes from your Church Library or Seminary Library. Or use it as a "wish list", like you've mentioned.

There's been a feature request in the past to add "shelves" or "location" metadata so that users can track in which particular library this print book is located. That's not currently implemented, so if you do add print books from different physical locations (or ones you don't even have), you'll want to track that information somewhere else so you know where to look when you get search results from these books in the future.
