Many, if not most, catechism across all denominations and across time, are organized entirely or in part by:

1. The 10 Commandments
2. The Lord's Prayer
3. The Apostle's Creed
4. Sacraments

For the 10 Commandments there is sometimes a difference in source and divisions that would need to be resolved.

For the Lord's Prayer it is normally 7 petitions

1. Hallowed be thy name.
2. Thy kingdom come.
3. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
4. Give us this day our daily bread.
5. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
6. And lead us not into temptation.
7. But deliver us from evil.

For the Apostles' Creed it is normally ~12 articles

1. I believe in God the Father almighty.
2. Maker of heaven and earth.
3. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord.
4. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.
5. Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended…
6. The third day he rose again from the dead.
7. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand…
8. From thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
9. I believe in the Holy Spirit.
10. The holy catholic (Christian) church, the communion of saints.
11. The forgiveness of sins.
12. The resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Sacraments - the number varies but always subsets of a closed set
