Deletion of Note Category

I was working in a note. I was having some glitches with the app while I was editing a particular note. Since I could not get this to stop within the note, I decided to recreate a note, copy and paste what I had done to see if the second note behaved the same way. It did not, so all was good.

Having solved the problem, I thought I would delete the old note. I choose 'Delete' thinking I was just deleting the note. To my horror, Logos deleted ALL my notes of this category! No warning like, "You are about to delete all notes of this category." I can’t seem to get them back!

Am I missing something? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this represents several years of bible study leader notes that are gone.

I don’t quite follow how your notes were deleted but the article here explains how to recover notes that have been deleted

You can see this in the Undelete a Note, Notebook, or Highlight section near the bottom of the article

Thanks for the response. I will try what you have suggested.

I perhaps used the wrong nomenclature. What was deleted was a notebook (I used the term category). Somehow when I went to delete my note, it deleted the entire notebook, which had several years worth of bible study leader notes.

I also see the mistake I made that caused the problem. Thanks again! It would have been a sad day had I not been able to recover those files.
