If I upgrade from premium to pro, does my upgrade restart the 2 -year period to get a license?

Good question. I would like to know as well. But I suspect the answer is yes.
It is a good question one I suggest you discuss with customer service before you upgrade. My opinion is that you are just replacing one subscription with another all that should change is your renewal date.
I'm sure this is just the sort of thing Logos would like to see a lot of. Hopefully they've thought about it already and have a plan. IMO, the best would be to prorate the new subscription price over the existing term, leaving the term the same.
I could see Logos promoting this. "Enjoying your subscription? Like to get more? Here's how…"
