Create a link which opens the reference in the desktop Logos

Before the last major update to Logos, when you right-clicked on a verse you had the option to create a link which would open the reference on the desktop version of Logos. It would created a link in the form of {logosres:nasb95;ref=BibleNASB95.1jn4.10} Now all it will give me is a link in the form of {https://ref.ly/1jn4.10} for which I HAVE to have an internet connection to work and it WONT open it in desktop Logos. I am using the links in a Word document and I don't always have an Internet connection. I literally had to create a Word macro to make a link that works. Why was this functionally removed, and will it be returned?

There are quite a number of threads on this —- look at this one. It includes a link for workarounds to open ref.ly direct in Logos from Word. It works thru your browser (if listed) but does not require the internet.
If you prefer there are converters from ref.ly to logosres.

The logosres functionality will not be restored as ref.ly is regarded as a more universal link. It is used within Logos but it will not require an internet connection.
