Factbook "Questions to Ask" Section and AI Credits

In Factbook’s “Questions to Ask” section, are AI credits charged every time I open the same question? For example, I open a suggested question in Factbook, get the answer, and then exit Logos with Factbook still open. When I reopen Logos, Factbook is still open, but the previous answer to that question is gone. If I tap the same question again to see the answer, does this use additional AI credits each time?

I just tested this. The AI meter increased by 1 each time I opened the question “Where is the stade mentioned in the Bible?” I had saved my layout with Factbook open to the “stade” topic, then completely closed Logos, reopened it, and selected the same question again. Factbook was still open to “stade,” and each time I selected that question after reopening Logos, the AI meter went up by 1. Now we know!

I suspect if you see it 'thinking' when you reopen the question, it is probably using credits again. Hopefully, someone from Logos will confirm.

@Chris G. Hutchings I think it's easy to tell when it will use AI credits and when it won't. If the Factbook pane stays open, you can close that question, and reopen it was many times as you want and the answer pops up immediately - and no additional AI credits are used. But even it you just close the Factbook pane, reopen it, and click the down arrow for the question, you see it 'thinking' for some seconds, and then the answer comes up - that uses AI credits. So certainly doing a more radical operation like completely closing Logos, it will upon clicking the down arrow for the question, 'think', and regenerate the answer.

@Yasmin Stephen is onto something in connecting the "thinking" process with the use of AI credits. In testing, it appears that the answer remains saved only while the user stays on that Factbook page. If the user leaves the page and later returns, clicking the same question again will consume additional AI credits. With this in mind, it may be wise to keep the Factbook page open until the research on that topic is complete.
