Lost highlights to nkjv and cannot make new highlights

I have been using highlights in my bible reading plan that is set up with NKJV since January 1st. Today (2/25) I found that I couldn’t highlight anymore in NKJV whereas I can still highlight in ESV. None of the previous highlighting I did in NKJV shows up. I can’t highlight in the bible reading or when I directly open NKJV. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

The NKJV was updated yesterday. Check your Library to see if you received an updated version. If so, I wonder if indexing was somehow interrupted and was not restarted and completed.
