Remove in-product ads

You know, perhaps it's just me, but it really bugs me to have the black banner ad appear when I open Logos. I use Logos to teach from and put it on display to my congregation. The last thing I want to see is an ad — especially on software that I've invested thousands in. Please keep ads for paying users where they belong (email, website, etc.) and NOT in the software itself.

I forget all the details of how this works but have you checked that Show Banners is turned off in Program Settings?
