Hi, this is actually a more general request to Logos to change the way of thinking in regards to Bibles, to make them available even though they might not be expected to give a monetary surplus. Like, where I live there are many small countries represented in the customer base. It is understandable that Logos need to consider the economic potential for the books, but my suggestion is to think differently when it comes to Bibles!
Why?
Because for churches Bibles has of course a superior standing compared to all other books. This is especially important for churches who use Proclaim. Having the OSB (On Screen Bible) in native languages is of course important and might even be a differentiator in choosing presentation software. The integration of Logos and Proclaim is really great. But the lack of Bibles in native languages reduces one of the most practical and useful integration benefits, namely to be able to present bible passages on screen.
This request comes now because we received information from the publisher that the 2024 translation (already 2 years behind) of the Norwegian Bible is now available to be pre-ordered, BUT if it actually will be available is depending on the interest. Please, Logos, reconsider this practice for Bibles!
