This passage on page 174 in “Stories with Intent” by Snodgrass makes reference to one passage in Luke:
"Luke’s redaction does more than streamline, and like Matthew his arrangement of his material is the method used to nuance the discussion. He does not have Jesus teaching from a boat, apparently to avoid the redundancy with 5:3."
