Proclaim already does an excellent job allowing slide backgrounds and lighting cues to change when transitioning from one song to another. However, there is currently no way to trigger those same changes within a song.
I would like to request the ability to change slide backgrounds and send MIDI lighting cues mid‑song, based on song sections such as Verse, Chorus, Bridge, or Instrumental.
This would allow background visuals and lighting to change automatically as the song progresses—for example:
- A calm, minimal look during verses
- A brighter or more energetic lighting scene for choruses
- A distinct background or lighting cue during a bridge or spontaneous moment
Adding section‑based MIDI cues and background controls would eliminate the need for manual lighting changes or breaking a song into multiple slides just to achieve visual or lighting transitions. This would streamline live production, reduce operator workload, and allow worship teams to create more intentional and immersive worship experiences while keeping everything fully integrated in Proclaim.
Proclaim already has the foundation for production automation between songs—extending that capability to include section‑level changes within songs would be an incredibly powerful enhancement.
