To Whom it May Concern: Could you please design and suggest a search algorithm to find all the proper names of people in the Bible that include the Hebrew "El"? Thank you!
Try root.h:אֵל.5 EQUALS morph.h:NP[FM] in a translation with reverse interlinear (ESV). It will exclude place names, including Israel/Jacob! It also excludes a female (Mehetabel) in Gen 36:39; not having a gender.
The root 'el' must be part of these proper nouns with masc. or feminine gender (person names).
Note that Lexham Hebrew Bible produces more accurate results as there is a variation between translations.
