Using the "Add parallel text feature"

When building a set of resources to use, I often find the "add Parallel Text" helpful.

However, I see one major flaw, which is there is nothing to indicate which tex/resource you are using in the window.

Here is a sample of what I have:

I would love it if the title of each resource would show up in the red area I outlined.

Can anyone help me?

However, the info for the resources I have are not so helpful!

It gives me something but the second column is just Romans. I know that it is part of the EGGNT series since the fourth column is Baylor.

Unfortunately, "Romans" is literally the title of the book. I know that some users like to customize the title of their books like these to something like "EGGNT Romans". You can do this by selecting the book in your library, turning on the information sidebar, and clicking the pencil icon beside the title.

Just adding to Andrew, below is my commentary window in my layout (demonstrating the renaming, and how many commentaries it can support).

Renaming the commentary titles may seem burdensome (and it is), but the renaming really makes Logos use more efficient. Renamed commentaries (if renamed by Bible book number and commentary ) nicely sort out in Logos menus, and even show up in the mobile (but not the web version). And the renamed titles have lasted for years (in my case, 15+ years of use).

@Andrew Batishko You are very helpful. I went to change the title like you said and discovered there is a field right next to it with more explicit info in it!

And actually that info is used to label the tab in the main window.

That's the resource abbreviation, and it is used in some places. In most situations, the abbreviated title is shorter than the full title (although not really for "John"), so in situations where it is expected for there to be more room, the application is designed to prefer showing the full title.
