Major screw-up with Korean Bible versions in Logos

I have Logos 4. I have just found a major screw-up with Korean Bible versions in Logos 4.

New Korean Revised Version(NKRV) in Logos has somehow Korean Revised Version(KRV).

And the names of the books in the introduction of NKRV are in Catholics forms that has adopted Latin phonetic soundings whereas the Bibles for the Protestant churches have adapted Hebraic and Greek phonetics.

I guess during the production they messed up NKRV with KRV. I hope this kind of problems is limited to Korean Bibles not to Hebrew , Greek, or Spanish Bibles.

Look at the chart I put on. The yellow colored words are differences I have found between the NKRV from Korean Bible Society webpage and Logos 4 (Light and Middle column). Left column is KRV from Logos 4. As you see NKRV and KRV of Logos 4 are identical when they are different.

Please correct the problem as soon as possible and distribute a corrected version.

I am a Korean, and I know what you are talking about. The most used Korean version is useless on a premium bible software program. What is worse is I purchased those Korean versions.

I hope Logos takes care of this problems.

Getting the names and versions wrong like this is a big no-no. Logos should fix this ASAP.

This thread has been around for a long time with no response from Logos. They don't tend to read the General forum. I've sent an email to Customer Service to have someone take a look at this issue.

I can't tell for sure, but probably not - since Hyuk S. Kwon (welcome to the forums, Hyuk Kwon!) yesterday answered to a four years old thread, I looked up the product offerings and it seems Logos currently doesn't sell any Korean Bible at all. That's not good, but is the current status for some time now. It seems, there have been Korean bibles in the past in Logos (NKRV [see also this thread] and KRV), and maybe somewhere on the web there are still some copies in Libronix format to be found.

In a thread from early 2013, Logos CEO Bob Pritchett voiced his intention to improve on that.

That same thread discussed making a Korean Bible PB as a stop-gap maeasure. One user (Donghyun Kwon, not a forum regular) claims to have a PB version of NKRV 4th, but no one took him publicly up on this. Logos MVP Mark Barnes offered to produce a PB (and - if copyright reasons allow - he'd surely share it) and has experience and already a file to start with, but strangely his generous offer still stands unanswered on page 2 of the thread. If I was Logos, I wouldn't interpret this as overwhelming interest....

At least, Logos is intending to broadening the offering in Korean, including the UI localization and other content (which surely would require one or more Korean Bibles), since they are looking for a https://www.logos.com/jobs/Korean-Marketing-Specialist

I believe Logos will soon have all the electronic books that we need. Lee, it took me 15 000 hours to complete my first book. They have thousands of books to arrange electronically and it takes thousands of hours. My wish is that they will also have the New American Standard Bible (NASB) on audio soon. It is the translation that is closest to accurate and it does not contain the interpolations (of which there are many) as found in the New King James Version (NKJV). In the meantime while we wait on Logos, you may want to try the ear bible that is without cables. Just hook it around your ear and you can listen to the entire Bible in about 80 hours. I just do not know much about the after service arrangements. God bless Lee.

But they have a bike shop and you can drink espresso all day and and and. Who wouldn't want to move to Bellingham? Seriously though, they sometimes seem contradictory. e.g. they want a New Zealand Market Manager who has been a NZ resident for 10+ years but who needs to move to Bellingham?!? The same goes for South Africa and the UK.

Ditto for Germany. I think they need to consider hiring nationals who live in those countries and know the markets well and will stay there to be connected to where the sales need to happen. They could travel to Bellingham every few months for a few days if needed, or spend plenty of time on Skype with the home office. But if Logos wants to make inroads in other countries they are going to need to get boots on the ground there.

In another thread, something Bob wrote tells me he realizes this:
