BUG: B7 - Notes hyperlinks inactive unless note contents being edited

The hyperlink function is working well - I tried linking to a couple of external files and it works nicely.

However, the hyperlink is only active when the note is being edited. See example below, where both "BSN" are hyperlinks to Word documents:

Both hyperlinks work as intended (using <Ctrl+Click> ) when the note concerned is being edited, so I know they are working hyperlinks.
