Refresh my memory
Can someone please refresh my memory how I can
turn my visual filters that I have selected off when I am not using them so
they don’t show in my text until I need them?

Use the three interlocking colored circles in the resource's locator bar

You can also right click a filter and choose "do not show in any" or "show in all appropriate" resources.
Note: this might not have made it to Mac yet...but it's coming, I'm sure.

I'm not sure Sam was asking the question for the Mac. I answered from there because it is the one I had open, and the same answer applied to both platforms. Thanks for the additional information. I have not used that option and forgot about it.
