Missing resources: Kittel's gone

I've searched the forum trying to solve this and don't see my answer yet. I am missing big Kittel's (and maybe a few other resources) but I have used the Beyond Compare program and all the *.logos4 files are on the HD of my new computer. Kittel is there too, only not showing up in My Library.
L4 reads 2,746 files on my older computer and only 2,735 on the newer one. Puzzling.

Hello Ron, did you try "Update Resources" command? If that doesn't help, I would do re-index of the library.

Yes, thanks. I tried that several times, but no change. I downloaded the Beyond Compare program and ran that. When I found some files that had not made the journey, I copied them onto my new HD. I then shut down the computer and rebooted and then opened Logos to check if the numbers matched. Big Kittel is still missing.
I have read that there are several other options: 1] index or delete some folders and let Logos download everything again and reindex. I want to start with the least extreme course first.

Since the file is on your computer I think the problem might be in either
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\<Random>\LibraryCatalog or C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\<Random>\ResourceManager
I would try deleting/renaming the contents of one of these folders (with Logos off) and restarting to prompt it to rebuild the files.

Kevin,
Do you mean to try renaming the Resource folder in Resource Manager [to say ... Resource 2]? and then open L4?
Or do you mean for me to completely DELETE the Resource folder in Resource Manager and then open L4 and let Logos download, rebuild and reindex?
If the latter, I have a question. I think my computer went into SLEEP mode or something when I was downloading my files. With Win 7 can I (more to the point - should I) turn off something in the DISPLAY SETTINGS area first?

I don't have any "Resource folder" inside the Resource Manager folder.... hmmmmm. The files in the picture are the databases that I would try to have Logos rebuild.
If you want to keep you computer from sleeping you will need to modify the power options, not the Display settings. Leave it on High Performance overnight or something to keep it downloading, let the monitor go to sleep though.

There is a Resource folder inside the Resource Manager folder under the Data subdirectory. Ron was looking there.
What Kevin is talking about is the Resource Manager folder under Documents.
In other words Ron is looking here:
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\[Random string]ResourceManager\Resources
Kevin is pointing here:
C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\[Random string]\ResourceManager

Doh!
Ok, thanks Richard.
Instead of the path that I was looking at before, I'm thinking C:\Users\Kevin\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\wcuvsvj0.qyo\LibraryCatalog looks more likely to be a place where the problem is. Sorry Ron. I would rename the folder to LibraryCatalog.old and then restart Logos 4. Don't touch the documents stuff just yet.

Thanks Richard and Kevin,
I am just nearing the end of indexing after typing Rebuild Library Index in the command line.
I want to see if that fixes the problem. If not, I will rename Library Catalog to LibraryCatalog.old ? and that should do it, yes?

Let say that's my best guess at what I think could be the problem. If that doesn't work I would suggest calling Logos tech support.

I would put the resources from the older computer onto an external drive and use the scan command in L4 on the new computer:
- scan d:\old_computer_resources ==> use your actual path!
- restart L4

OK, I'm almost there - only 1 book discrepancy bet. old computer and new. XX86 and XX87 [maybe I should just leave well enough alone.] I think this will resolve itself sometime soon.
Thanks everyone for your help [:)]
