I Libronix I used to be able to search for (say) all the present participles in Hebrews. I don't think I can do this is Logos 4. Does anyone out there know if it can be done?
Philip,
This search can be performed in L4.
1) Click the magnifying class to start a new search.
2) Choose "Morph" search.
3) Make sure the Bible selected is appropriate (NA27, for example). You can also run morphological searches on bibles with Reverse Interlinears, such as the ESV.
4) Choose an appropriate search range.
5) In the search bar, use @ to bring up the morphology selector.
6) Choose Verb, Present, and participle
7) Click the little arrow in the lower right hand corner to start the search!
Sorry, I couldn't number the circles in my picture, but I hope it helps!
What David suggested can also be done from a Syntax Search in the Morphology section ie use @
