SO here I am studying for my sermon on Logos 4 and laughing out loud---at the coffee shop!  Why am I laughing?  I am laughing because I love L4 so much I cannot imagine studying being this easy, even with the previous version.  I LOVE my Logos 4.  Hey Logos: you guys are the best.  Have a great 2011!

L4 is a wonderful resource which I am grateful the Lord provided us with. Enough said! [:D]

Yea, there are times that I have severely smiled at this ability.  Do wish they had etymology included in the parsing section, like studylight.org/isb does.

If anyone knows how to do this, let me know.

Well...I too study in a coffee shop and while I don't laugh out loud..I do smile pretty frequently!

It's easy to complain about things and lose the big picture...just 3 years ago or so I was studying with paper bible and paper books...a long, laborious process...

    Thank you very much Logos!

    I can relate. Remarkable!!!!!!!!

Yes, and thank you everybody at Logos. "The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His Face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and give you peace."

It is a great program that goes beyond anything I thought was possible 3 years ago, and now I know it will get even better!  It does make one appear to be smarter than they really are, but people don't understand it is the system that makes the learning easier!  I thank the Lord for such a wonderful tool, and look forward to the day when we don't need the tool!

    In Christ,

If I start laughing out loud while studying with Logos, my wife will think I am up to something, so I just grin a little. [8-|]

I hear you Robert. When I first made the transition from L3, I was one of those impatient naysayers who complained about all of the changes and how hard it was to accomplish anything. But after a year of use I can't imagine doing it any differently. Though I do still use L3 on my laptop because it is too underpowered for L4.

In the pre-Logos days, I remember lugging numerous commentaries and language dictionaries back and forth between my office in the church and home as I prepared sermons and lessons. Now I simply open Logos 4 and it picks up where I left off with my preferred resources right there.

I well remember those days when not only was my large desk covered with open commentaries, but also on the floor next to my chair.  Having to use an IBM electric typewriter to type in relevant quotes from all my various resources.  If only Logos had existed when I was in Bible College and seminary!  By the way, I'm 58 years old--and I have seen the world transformed by pc's and programs like Logos.  Praise the Lord!
