Is there any type of notes filing system? I'm sure I have a lot fewer than a lot of people - but right now they are just in a long scrollable list that can't even be sorted - by name, date, etc.
Am I missing something?
Thanks!
Dave
You can create multiple Notes files and put different categories of notes into separate files.
You can reorder notes within a notes file by dragging them up and down. The notes that are created by attaching them from a Bible verse will sort in biblical canonical order automatically. Or you can sort them again biblically by selecting Sort from the panel menu.
You can also use Favorites (which can have nested folders) as a hierarchical filing cabinet system to put links to different notes files in if you end up having lots and lots of them.
In addition to Rosie's answer please observe that the search function can be used to filter what you see. If you type Notes into the file menu's search box you will only see not files (or other file types with the word Notes in the title).
The Favorites feature Rosie mentioned and the search capability within the file menu are good work arounds, but I would still like to see a file system within the file menu. Maybe someday[^o)]
Checkout the wiki section on Favorites . I have been using Logos 4 for awhile and learning to use Favorites well has made Logos so much more powerful for me. Good luck!
Thanks to everyone. As was noted Favorites provides a good work around that I wasn't aware of - so that is very helpful.
