book covers on tabs

I noticed on my windows machine that book cover icons are shown on tabs; on L4M I get abbreviations on tabs.
Is there an option or does each version offer something different? (Personally, I'd like to have book covers in place of the abbrev)
thanks.

My layout for Windows includes book covers and the exact same layout for Mac includes text.

BTW, how do you include screen shots in your reply?

When you are editing your post click the paper clip and attach an image file (e.g. png or jpeg)

In your screen shot, the mac view is wider and therefore has more room to display short titles.

Wow, Gregg, how lucky can you get?! Book titles you can read! I'm on the PC and I have a mess of black squares. Although the book covers are cute, the 'scholarly' books tend to be plain and dark. How I wish you could just use the tags instead of icons as with the shortcuts.

True. Try adding more books on the Mac and see if the book covers show up. Also, if you hover over any one of the tabs, the full title, book description, and larger image of the book cover will come up in a popup window:
