Android Logos with access to resources on SD card?

Hello, I am thinking of getting some Android device with small SSD size but with a SD card reader. This should be cheap, under USD 300, I think.
My question is where Logos is heading in Android development? Does Logos plan to support offline resources on separate disks, not only the internal one of the device (don't know how logically this is organized in Android devices)?
I understand that iPad 1 users totally rely on the SSD memory size, but I'd be happy if Logos for Android would support externally stored resources.

Not correct in terms of Logos platform, iPad users can read resources from the cloud as they wish. But you don't need to in one sense anyway because you can download resources to the iPad and I could — if I was so inclined — download all of my 600 Logos resources to the iPad and have stacks of space to spare. Why? I can only read a dozen or so books at a time why would I want more on the device?
To be honest I think people fall for the whole Google/Android FUD thing including the ideas that tablets have to have dozens of ports and removable memory, they will never have a device as good as the iPad. Google gets all its revenue from ads, they don't really care less about creating new paradigm devices, they just want you locked into their platform so they can shove ads in your face. Google is not really open as they claim.

I can understand the temptation.
I guess what you will need to consider is how you will use the device and the whole environment around it. I have a 64GB iPad, I am not anywhere near getting to the limit of it's (storage) capacity. Am I limited with respect to the connectivity to it — physical and wireless — no. Does it, and will it for some time fulfill my real requirements — yes. Do I have a product supported by a consistent environment — yes. Am I getting real value for money which makes the product actually cheaper in the long run — definitely.
Also, to be honest, I think that Apple are the innovators in the tablet market, in one stroke they delivered where Microsoft and it's lackluster hardware partners failed for years. For that I am happy to get onboard and on the iPad platform and support Apple (and get a great device!).
Best wishes in your deliberations

I 'react' a bit to the FUD that Google intentionally spreads around about Apple/iOS/iPhone/iPad. I'm serious about how people should really consider about Google and it's intentions — they get >99% of their revenue from advertising. Anything else they do is to bolster and promote that (advertising). And I think to myself that if these guys have made SO much money from advertising then I, as a consumer, am being ripped off. Meaning... nothing is free, any (excessive) advertising cost which gets paid to Google I'm actually (over)paying for in the products I buy.
