Given that even on pre-pub the price of the forthcoming Evangelical Exegetical Commentary is $699.95, it is a huge disappointment not to be able to buy individual volumes. I would feel different if there were a wider variety of Evangelical authors involved, but this series is so overwhelming dominated by dispensationalists that I just have no interest in purchasing the entire set. On the other hand, there are individual volumes that I would dearly like to read (and not an abridged version), like Walter C. Kaiser's volume on Jeremiah and Lamentations, for example.
I figured it was early enough in the production process that perhaps something could be done to make this possible.
