Bad font rendering in 4.21.4.8941

Did something happen in the latest Beta that would change font rendering? All of the sudden, the fonts in any panel look horrible.

As you can see, the I'm now getting full-pixel anti-aliasing, instead of sub-pixel, and the results are not good. My other software is using sub-pixel rendering, as usual.
