This is getting really annoying! Haven't been able to use the software and was hoping to leave the macbook on overnight. Oh well.
Can anybody tell me what's going wrong? Thanks in advance. Tom.

Keep Smiling [:)]
Just downloaded and installed Logos 4 Scholar Silver for Mac on Thursday. After waiting hours for the library to be installed (building resources), and then being informed that Logos is "indexing" I saw the blue icon in the upper right hand corner of my Mac and figured all was well. The icon bubble informed me that Logos need 8 hours to index.
2 hours later the Blue Index Icon was gone...
I opened Logos and did a topical search on "kosher." Nothing was found and a yellow box under the search bar informed me that Logos was still indexing...even though the blue icon was gone.
It has now been TWO DAYS, and there is still NO blue icon to inform me that Logos is indexing, nor does a topical search bear any fruit.
What is going on?????
Keep Smiling, that fixed my problem. Thanks!

Welcome [:D]
No search results plus Blue icon gone - suspect Indexer crash - would like to look at log files: wiki has posting steps => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#How_to_Report_Bugs_in_Logos_4_Mac
Could restart Mac - watch for Blue Icon to appear - after Blue Icon disappears, launch Logos 4 Mac - try a search (e.g. search entire library for logos) - if nothing found or indexing message appears, close Logos 4 Mac, compress log files, and post.
attached is the Log file.
I am have the EXACT same problem with my desktop version. I'm trying to install Logos on both of my machines, and both are experiencing this same problem over Indexing.

Indexer.log file has BibleIndex Indexing LLS:NIV2011 immediately followed by Stacktrace.
So is this something I can fix, or does LOGOS need to step in?
Also, is there a 'work around' until Logos fixes this problem?
thanks!
It's apparently just a corrupt file that you just need to pull out of your directory to complete.
Open Finder, go to (your username)/library/application support/logos 4/data/(random letters and numbers)/resource manager/resources/ and move the niv2011 file there onto your desktop.
Bit annoying for me too, but at least it all indexed in 2 and a half hours for me when it said it was going to take over 15!
Forum has couple workaround options => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/28667/212131.aspx#212131
Resource file is new - current Logos 4 Mac stable release indexer crashes trying to index - anticipating Logos 4 Mac stable release update => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/28667/212326.aspx#212326
