Reading Plan Problem

I tried to create a reading plan just like one I have in Logos 3, but Logos 4 does not seem to be completing it.  I admit it's a little more complicated that normal, but it was a catch up plan from when I was behind on my Bible reading goals:

Read the HCSB Psalm 135-150, Psalm | 1 Chronicles 6 - Malachi | Luke 22:7-24:53, Acts-Revelation | Proverbs 11-31, Proverbs, Proverbs each M/Tu/W/Th/F/Sa starting March 7, 2009 and finishing December 31, 2009

The plan starts correctly and completes the OT and NT reading on December 31, but Psalms is only thru 134, and Proverbs is only at 10:29-32.

I also noticed that Logos 4 does not have the option to either end reading at the end of the chapter or the end of a pericope.

I am happy that we can create Reading Plans for resource besides the Bible; I am going to use it to read through Calvin's Institutes.  I wish you could filter out the TOC, preface, introduction though.

Blessings - Clay

    Clay,

Thanks for the info.  Reading plans currently do not support repeating bible verses.  So "Psalm 135-150, Psalm" ends up going through Psalms 135-150, then starts over at Psalm 1, but only goes to Psalm 134 because the plan already contains Psalm 135-150.  Similarly for "Proverbs 11-31, Proverbs, Proverbs", it first goes through Prov 11-31, then starts over but only goes through Prov 1-10 because Prov 11-31 was already read.  We'll look into allowing repeated verses for a future release.

Logos 4 reading plans will choose either chapter or pericope boundaries depending on which one makes a better plan.  If neither is available, it will make a equal division based on verse counts.

Filtering out TOC, etc. is also something we'll look into for a future release.  Note that when a resource has page numbers, the reading plan will allow you to select page ranges.  Not all resources have page numbers, though.
