Why does my note contain a bible reference I don't want?

The bottom image is my note which contains a reference to Revelation 22:21. I have no bible open for that reference, only the Revelation Of Jesus Christ commentary which the top picture shows the note source. Why does the note contain the bible reference when I have nothing open to refer it to, and I don't want it there? I also cannot remove it.

The 4.14.3 reference is correct, not the Rev 22:21. I want to NOT have the Revelation 22:21 reference. Is it possible or is there some kind of bug here?

Larry, how you create the note matters If you add a note with the Reference selected it will become a permanent part of your note title.

I don't think I have the commentary you're using so I can't test the behavior on the specific book.

I see exactly what you are saying, and I have the "Selection 4.14.3" selected but it still puts the Revelation reference in. I tried adding a note in other places in the same area and it puts the same reference in all of them. Maybe this commentary is linked to that verse somehow?! There is no visual reference to it that I can see though. I'm stumped...

The only line in that input box is that same scripture, Revelation 22:21. I erase that line and it comes back. I don't have a clue what's going on still...

I wasn't suggesting that you erase that line. What I did was an attempt to show you what Libronix called the Active index... basically the different ways you can navigate through a book. In most commentaries you can input a bible verse or a page number into that box. Some books have sections (i.e. 80.2) that you can jump to by inputting the number.

This knowledge doesn't change anything about how adding a note works, just thought it might be interesting for you to know.

What you know know is that section of you commentary is indexed to Rev. 22:21

What I was trying to do by erasing that line was to bring up anything that was in that box. Usually just putting the cursor there does it, but I ended up erasing the line.
