Here's the instructions for Logos 4. Logos 3 is similar. Smart Tags only work in Word, not in InDesign.

My understanding is that smart tags only work in Logos 4.1 or greater and are not available in Logos 3. Have I misunderstood?

Logos 3 had smart tags first. When 4 came out it did not support smart tags, 4.1 re-introduced it.

I have Logos 3, and I am trying to use Smart Tags with Word 2007. When I click Word Options > addins > smart tags, I am given no option for Libronix Smart Tags. I have read, re-read, and re-read the article you which you linked, giving the instructions for L4. I do not understand why Word is not giving me the option for Libronix smart tags, and technical support has never heard of anything like this. Any ideas?

Bottom line: Run this script http://www.logos.com/media/update/SmartTagsAutoUpdate.lbxupd and you should be able to get Smart Tags working
