Notes Default Font
Is it just a quirk in the notes functionality that when I paste material into a note it doesn't use the default font? When I paste a sentence into a note it uses Verdana 12, but the default I have chosen is Verdana 11.

This is an issue that has been around for a long time. I see you flagged this back in July last year - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/20300/152701.aspx I too find it frustrating.
To the best of my knowledge I haven't seen any responses from Logos on this.

I reported to development that text pasted into notes from resources doesn't use the Default Note Text Size. It does use the Default Note Font. I also reported that if a font other than the default is selected in a particular note, the text is still pasted in using the Default Note Font.

When I paste text copied from a Clipping into a Note, it retains the font from the Clipping (font face and size). Is that by design (I'd prefer it get the Note default font)?

I just want to say that I want the note to keep the formatting of its source document. I format my notes before I past them into Logos.

I have also noticed that "small caps" that are pasted into a note get changed into lowercase letters. I was typing in Microsoft Word to enter a larger portion of information and used "Lord" in small caps and when pasted into notes in L4 it was changed to lowercase letters. But wait...even weirder is that when showing up in "gray color" in the compact mode of displaying Notes; the text is shown in small caps, not lowercase letters.
(I do not know how to put a picture of this problem into my reply, but I have it saved as two screenshots pasted in a Word document that I could email to someone to show them the glitch.)

Mark ~ Some fonts do not support Small Caps, Superscript, or Subscript in the Rich Text Editor. You may need to change the font once the text has been copied from Word. It appears that we use the default note font in the Compact view display, which does support Small Caps.

I am using Arial font at 14 and 16 point in Microsoft Word then pasting to Notes in L4.
Is there a particular font that I should be using in Word? What is the default font in Notes in L4?

The default fonts in Logos 4 are not available in Word. A couple of fonts that do support small caps are Calibri and Cambria. There are others as well.

Arial supports small caps in Word, but when copy and pasted into Notes; they are changed by Logos.

Correct -- the Arial font in the Logos Rich Text Editor for Notes and Clippings does not support small caps. If there is no font support for small caps, Word simulates it. We're not able to simulate it due to WPF requirements.
