Question About L4 lbxlls files
I noticed the lbxlls files that are being downloaded are not from the normal FTP site that we can access. Are these files newer (better) than the ones we have in L3? If so can we update our L3 book files with these or will it cause problems in our L3 installations?
Edit: Right now I'm downloading what seems like updated Galaxie Journal files.

Joe,
Bradley said most of these were coming later. All the L4 updated and retagged books have a .logos4 extension instead of lbxlls. At least that is the way I understand it. And I know I don't have these updated Galaxie Journal files on my computer that has been synced with the FTP server that we all have used in the past.
http://community.logos.com/forums/t/2920.aspxWe've resolved some server issues that were preventing resources being published, so we're now publishing resources.
All RC1 users should see an update to the help file. We're also publishing all existing LBXLLS (i.e., LDLS3 format) resources for Logos 4. If you kept your LDLS3 installation in sync with the FTP server, you probably won't see any updates; otherwise, you should see updates to all resources that have been updated (for LDLS3) since you installed. If you installed Logos 4 on a new computer, you may see a gigabyte (or more) of resources being downloaded to install the content you're missing

I think they said that they are pushing out L3 files that haven't been changed for L4 and that they are using it to test their servers for the upcoming release of new retagged and updated L4 versions. I'm not sure but I thinks it's around 60 or so new rebuilt book files have been released during the beta because they were needed test L4 features.

If the resource has a .lbxlls extension (and most of the ones being download right now, do), there should be no problem using it with LDLS3; you can manually copy it to your "Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources" folder to install it.
