Controlling where tiles open

OK - for the life of me I cannot figure out something that should be easy. How do I control which panel a new tile opens in. I want to use a panel to hold Searches, but I cannot tell how to always get the Search tile to open where I want it. I can easily drag it to the proper panel, but that is a pain. Anyone have an answer?

P.S. - I am sure I am going to feel dumb when I find out how it is done.

    Hi Michael

Sorry - this doesn't seem to be something we can control.

I don't know if this is any help, but if you have a panel that you want to always be the place a search goes, then drag the search tool there and then click on the resource menu and select "send searches here".

Also save the Search panel with your Layout!

Just as an FYI - I had built a layout by dragging the Favorites to a tile so that I could resize it (I am using Favorites a great deal and wanted a wider tile). When I clicked on a link in my Favorites it opens in the same panel with the Favorites. I wanted to force it to open in another Panel rather than being forced to drag it each time. The solution was to rebuild the layout WITHOUT dragging Favorites into it. This creates a window that cannot be widened, BUT when you click a link they automatically open in another panel.
