Complementary highlighting in syntax search results

In Logos 3, the results window not only highlight the words in the original language, it also highlighted the corresponding words in the English translation. My search results in Logos 4 only highlights the results in the original language, which means that I have to scour the English translation to find the meaning. This takes time, especially if you are not fluent in Hebrew. It is compounded by the fact that the verse numbers are not given within the body of the text.

Can this be changed?

    Hi Phillip,

    This is an issue that has been discussed off an on since L4 was released. As Graham indicated it recently resurfaced and Bradley indicated it was still on the to do list.

    Maybe with the issue being raised again it is something that will find its way into a Beta release in the near future.

    I have not found a good work around for this through any of the existing features, so I generally keep an english translation open with the interlinear display showing just the surface text and manuscript checked when working with syntax searches.

    Thanks all. There are two other deficits in relation to L3:

    1. In L3, if results were nested, they would be in different colours (e.g. a highlighted segement within a highlighted phrase or CIC). In L4 you just get one block of colour.

    2. In L3, when I hovered my mouse of the nodes, I was also told what kind of consituent it was (e.g. phrase, segment, CIC etc.) This made it easier to construct my own searches. In L4 I have to figure it out, which can unnecessarily waste time.

    Can you explain how you get nested results - is this searching within the results of a search or something else?

    I assume you know that you get this from the various visualisation resources (such as the "Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament: Sentence Analysis"). Where were you looking for this information to appear?
