Update Now suggestion

At least on my computer when I type Update Now into the command bar I don't always know whether anything has happened. Sometimes a pop-up comes up, other times my Program Settings panel opens and tells me there is a download available (I have Automatically Download Updates set to no).

I realize this is not a big deal, but to assure a user the command was responded to, it would be helpful if on the Program Settings panel where 'Updates are available (wording?)' appears when there are updates that a message 'No updates are available' would appear when the command executed and that was the result.

Thanks.

    Mark,

The current process when Automatic Updates are set to No is definitely confusing. It took me a while to realise that I had to go to Program Settings to find the button to select. The command doesn't do what I expect it to do which is to download any available updates.

I do like your suggestion of a "No available updates message".
