PDF software

Greetings friends,
Oftentimes I find very helpful information on the internet. I would like to save that information in PDF form for future reference.
There are plenty of PDF softwares on the web. I would like to find one that is freeware. Thankfully there are more than a few of these but I haven't a clue as to which one to choose.
Please, if anyone has experience with a free PDF software that you would recommend, respond to this post.
Thank you.

What features do you need? I use one that allow me to print to PDF but not to create a form with input or lock a document. I also use on that allows me to break PDF security but I shouldn't fess up to that

What operating system do you use? If you have a Mac and use OS X, the ability to do this is built right into the operating system. Just go to File > Print, then click on the PDF button on the window that pops up and then Save As PDF, and you're done.
Concerning a Windows OS, this might work for you: http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php
I installed it just now and gave it a brief run through. I was able to easily download a PDF version of the website I was viewing. So it might meet your needs.

Greg,
I just downloaded and installed the Bullzip pdf software. It's compatible with Win7 x64 which is the operating system that I am using. It's exactly what I need. Thank you.
I also downloaded and installed Adobe's PDF Reader.

Y2K2,
Glad I could help!
If you have Microsoft Word, you should also be able to copy and paste the information into a Word document, then Save As a PDF. This way you may not have to copy the entire webpage if you don't want it, but just the parts you need.

Copying and pasting to Microsoft Word only the information needed is preferable to saving the entire webpage to a pdf. However, sometimes the expedient thing to do is to print to pdf and later, when there is time, to convert the pdf to Word. The latter would need yet another software.
Greg, have you noticed that the Adobe Reader has the functionality of reading a pdf's content? That's really useful. I am going to give it a try.
I have a text-to-speech software called TextAloud. I bought it a few years back from nextup.com. I use it almost daily to read aloud the contents of web pages, including but not limited to, online news articles.
I am not sure but I think they have a trial version. You might want to check it out.

Adobe Reader also has javascript enabled by default (track PDF file reading).
Open source alternative for reading PDF's is evince => http://projects.gnome.org/evince/
On Mac OS X, Preview application can read and annotate PDF's.

I thanked Timothy but I truly mean to thank ALL OF YOU!!
Years ago I purchased Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard. It cost me a few hundred dollars but I did it because there is so much information available on the internet. Printing this information in pdf form was a good way for me to conserve space on my hard drive. And, the pdf format is a good and convenient way of sending large amounts of information as email attachments.
However, last year I was told that I had reached the number of activations allowed. They did allow me one more but unfortuantely Adobe Acrobat 7 does not run on x64 operating systems.
Are any of you later converting your pdf's to Word documents? If so, what software are you using to do that?
