I was wondering how to link two or more books to gogether to follow the same bible pasages when toggled through. I have clicked on the block that says links to open panels but nothing happens Any help would be great.

You have to build a "Link set" as shown in the screenshot - just make sure to choose the same character for books you want to link.
Edit concerning "Links to open panels": "When checked this enables your open Bible(s) which also have this checked to highlight references in other resources which have this checked. When unchecked this resource will not show highlighting." (see here)
