How long does it take your Logos4 to load?
Given your current mac set up- either desktop or notebook, from click to the beginning piano sound how long does it take to load logos 4 on your mac? I am asking just to compare hardware configurations. Please list tech specs, and machine model. Since technology has come a long way, the thing to do use to be start logos, make a cup of coffee comeback and you're ready to go! Source: my pastor. (i am new to logos so i dont know any previous history of the libronix system.) So to show how technology and logos has come a long way, whats the best feature you like that it didnt have in version 3?

It takes me about 15 seconds from startup to usable screen.
I'm running a new MBP, with a quad-core i7 @ 2.3 GHz. 4G of RAM and a 5400 RPM HDD.

The problem with the OP question is that Logos 4 loads differently depending on what you have on startup.
For example, if you are going to the home page, it depends on your Internet connection and the number of items you wish to display. My Logos 4 starts fairly fast if I don't home page at all and only have a couple of resources where I was reading last. If I have the full passage display with all the resource panels, it might take twice as long.
And there's another factor. If you shutdown Logos and then restart it, the second launch will be about 25% faster than a first one.
I am so grateful for the 4.2a release. I can usually get up in under a minute with my little MacMini and 2GB RAM that I've seen so far. It was closer to two minutes before.

It takes 12 seconds for my home page to load. From the homepage it takes 18 seconds to load a saved layout. I have an iMac 21.5 screen Core i3 3.2 GHz and a 1 TB HD at 7200 rpm.
