Big Improvement!!!

I am really quite impressed in the overall performance on 4.2a. I've just had it up for a little while after the evening index for the new update, but this is worthy of praise. Not everyone can run over to the Apple Store for a new computer and I'd much rather be adding to my library. This is wonderful. Thank You!!!

I agree. It makes my brand new blazing fast MBP even more insanely great! Good job devs. I can now fully recommend Logos for Mac to my friends.

Still slow for me, slow to load, slow take keyboard input.
Click on search produces spinning beach ball for a moment.
No, don't want to spend my time uploading screenshots, logs and such, just want to do my work.
Will keep waiting and watching. As it is, not stable enough for my daily usage.

Charles,
I have no idea what your setup or issues are, but I'm running this on an anemic 2GB MacMini that's two years old. The only upgrade I did was Snow Leopard. If you have issues with Logos, the tech people are surely capable of resolving them. My only best guess is that you haven't let your machine finish indexing first. But, it's just a guess.
Regards,
Michael

Sorry to hear that I wanted to make sure you checked into running disk utility to make sure there were no permission errors or file structure errors, running repair permissions and verify disk should let you know if anything is amiss. Other than that all i can say is good luck on getting it running acceptably for you.

My tools are sharp, all permissions fine, indexing done-2009 macbook alum- stock config, Snow Leopard.
It's just not "mac-like" to have to do all the tweaking , checking etc. to make an app work.
Only program I have that runs slow, sends up beach balls consistantly.
App is not mature yet, that's just all there is to it.
Not a novice computer user on Mac's or Pc.
Will continue to wait and see what happens.
It is getting better, just not "there" yet.
