I am pretty sure these have been mentioned already. Could not find all the various posts. Just wanted to add my two cents.

I understand that the purpose of Notes is for annotating resources and I use it this way. I also use it to hold my study notes while teaching a class. If there is another tool that will be added later that could meet my purpose here then I will use it but currently and historically Notes has come the closest to functioning best for me with this task.

  • It would be preferred if the notes could be collapsed.
  • Click to Follow Hyperlink and CTRL(Right)+Click to Edit Hyperlink
    • I understand the Note is in edit mode but I would prefer to be able to click instead of CTRL+click to follow the link. (I realize this is probably not how most would work but I still wanted to give my preference) With that said, I will give an alternative suggestion in the next bullet.
    • Add to right click menu: Edit hyperlink
  • (Alternative Suggestion) Add to Hyperlink Right-Click menu: Follow Link
    • Now to follow the hyperlink you must CTRL+Click, this is difficult in tablet mode - right clicking would make it possible/easier to follow the link in tablet mode.
  • Looking forward in future releases (I assume) to being able to add hyperlinks to other resources and applications.
    • ability to link to other application locations/files ( especially MSOneNote)
    • click to play media files, etc

Currently is is possible but not intuitively. You have to create the link in Word and then copy and paste it into the note.
