I am wondering if the only syntax available for CBV is what's listed in the Wiki/Help sections? That is, are there additional syntax options like changing the color of the font?
As far as we know, the wiki documents all the syntax options. There's no way to change the color of the font, apart from turning off Red Letter (%NoRedLetter).

If you'd like to have it, you can request it. Put a post in the Suggestions forum and/or send an email to suggest@logos.com. It probably is a feature that only a small minority would want, but there's nothing wrong with requesting it. If it's easy for them to do or if it fits in with some other work they're doing in that area anyway, they might throw it in even if not a lot of people are asking for it.
Another, more persuasive, way to get suggestions heard by Logos is to post them on UserVoice and get fellow users to vote for them (by drumming up interest via a forum thread here, with a link to your UserVoice post).
