Hello,
I would like to suggest that Logos add the book, "Orthodoxy and Heresy in Earliest Christianity" by Walter Bauer into its electronic format.
The publisher and other info can be found here: http://siglerpress.com/Bauer.htm
Thanks!

I would like to suggest that Logos add the book, "Orthodoxy and Herysy in Earliest Christianity" by Walter Bauer into its electronic format.
Bauer seems to have gotten things a bit wrong by starting with the 2nd century and labelling that as the earliest Christianity. It is nevertheless a significant work. You might want to read the article by I. Howard Marshall which appeared in Themelios http://www.earlychurch.org.uk/article_heresy_marshall.html,
If Logos does decide to publish this, I hope they spell the title correctly (You misspelled it twice !). It is Orthodoxy and Heresy in Earliest Christianity.
Thanks for the catch on the spelling
Peace, George!
Thank you for that link!
I found it quite fascinating and appreciate your posting it!
*smile*
I would like to see this title come to Logos as well.
There is also the book by Bart D. Ehrman “Lost Christianities: The Battle for Scripture and the Faiths We Never Knew”
[But the publisher thanks you for the post - now I have to go out and buy a 'real' book]
Since Bart Ehrman has come up again in these forums, I would recommend that one of the important sources for his understanding of early Christianity, namely, Bauer's classic treatment Orthodoxy and Heresy be made available...
Shared portion of title reminds me of another book we need in Logos Lost Christiantiy by Jacob Needleman
