Logos keeps crashing every 4-5 minutes of use.

Howdy,

Since the recent update my Logos is crashing every few minutes when I am typing notes. I have attached all the required logging files. If someone could offer assistance it would be appreciated as it is making my sermon preparation very frustrating....

Noticed parallels in Console Messages - wonder about using Logos 4.2a in Windows for Note editing workaround ? Forum mentions several Note issues on Mac => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/30845/228725.aspx#228725

Observation: Logos 4 crash occurred at 17:10 - Logos 4 Mac was launched at 17:13 (overwrote Logos4.log lines corresponding with 17:10 crash), however noticed Console Messages has Saved crash report: /Users/hisnhers/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Logos Bible Software 4_2011-03-14-171340_iMac.crash (for crash at 17:13 that was not written to Logos 4.log file).

Suspect Logos developers would appreciate saved crash reports being compressed and uploaded.

Also have option to contact Logos support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact and mention this forum thread

Console messages has a variety of errors and crashes:

-[NSCFArray isEqualToDictionary:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance

*** RICH TEXT EDITOR CHECKSUM FAILED ***

I have loaded the windows version of logos and am using that atm. There is a few differences between the two versions in fact the windows version searches faster than my mac version. I may do more work in it.

Are you using Logos for Windows on the Mac? ..with Bootcamp? ..or with a virtualization system such as Parallels?

Hi Jacques,

I now have two Logos systems loaded. One in Mac as normal which crashes when using notes. The second one was loaded after the problem occurred, and it is in Windows through Parallels. I loaded this so I could keep working on my sermon. It has nothing to do with the Mac version which is crashing.

Melissa has there been any news from the development team?
