I got my XP box up again and Logos reinstalled(surprisingly uneventful which is a GREAT thing). I decided to pop a video card in but I cannot get it to accept it as configured--I tried everything. The weird thing is I think it's  actually working. Is this possible? It's an ATI Radeon 7500 with just 64mb which is nothing but I figured it might be better than the Intel integrated graphics. I might just yank it and put something better in but Logos is running fairly briskly for my old box. I'd put in for at least 512 card if this would be advisable.

Any ideas? It's an old dog but if it will learn new tricks, I'll bleed a bit and buy a good card.

Since no one answered, I guess it was a no-brainer. Since it was too nice a day, I went shopping and put in an HD 4350 ATI Radeon with 512MB. Just the ticket. Logos 4 really seems to benefit from a good card. Beats buying a new computer too. [8-|]

    Hey Michael,

Yes, before I upgraded to a new HP with an i7, that was the best thing I did to my then 6 year old Dell PC, at least it allowed me to use L4 until I was ready to upgrade.

I'm trying to keep this machine in service for another year or two. I spoke prophetically on this scenario too: drew blood on the metal edge of the slot where I was putting the card when i pushed the plate out. [:$]
