Logos 4 Copied all my Logos 3 Resources SUCCESSFULLY

Given the discussion on how we could be sure that nothing has been lost in the upgrade from 3 to 4 I figured out a way to check on my system based on a comment that Bob made about adding the Logos 4 resource directory as a Logos 3 path and temporarily ignoring Bradley's advice NOT TO DO THIS!

Running a Bibliography on my system gave me a resource count of 2,256 on my Logos 3 System this includes a number of older LLS format resources from E4 and others. Like a number of others I have always monitored my resources to make sure that nothing went 'missing'.

Having added the Logos 4 path to Logos 3 I used Logos 3 to delete the duplicate files from my Logos 3 resources directory, I then removed the Logos 4 path and refreshed my resources. Having restarted Logos 3 I ran a Bibliography on all unlocked resources and this generated a list of 81 resources that had not been deleted. As this list potentially represented files that had not been copied by Logos 4 I then checked each one and found that:

56 were now in Logos 4 format

22 were Logos 3 specific help file resources

3 were Reverse Interlinears

Most importantly there were ZERO failures by Logos 4 so EVERYTHING that I own is now in Logos 4. The even better news is that the time that I historically used for checking my resources can now be used for study, thanks to all the great work by the Logos team.

God Bless
