Formatting of author names.
Hi.
I just sorted my library by author, and noted that some people (W.E. Vine, for example) have duplicate entries. The issue looks to be one of punctuation and whitespace. For the sake of sorting and grouping, perhaps all whitespace and punctuation should be ignored - or you should be using indicies for authors internally?
[Edit: Actually, ignoring punctuation will be insufficient: A.W. Pink has Walkington spelt out in one instance and not in another]

It's been that way all along; in V3 also.
It's dependent on the resources themselves and not Logos.

Nigel, this has been mentioned and I believe as meta data continues to be corrected some of that should begin to evaporate into nothing more than memory.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Thanks Thomas.
Sorry if I'm repeating things others have said. There are few too many posts for lil 'ol me to read; I'm just posting issues as I notice them.
