For testing purposes, I'm running Logos 4 on a different computer than I normally use for Logos 3 and discovered an interesting feature.  I unlocked and downloaded the free MacArthur Bible Studies: Romans on the notebook in which I'm running Logos 3, then synchronized the license over the internet.  Lo and behold, when I ran Logos 4, without telling it, it synchronized with the new license and downloaded MacArthur Bible Studies: Romans automatically on the other computer running Logos 4.

Yes, that's a feature of the "cloud" resource management so that you have no missing resources in L4! A similar things happens after you activate a CD purchase in L3.
