April 5th brought us 4.3 Beta 2 (v4.30.0.0208) On a two week release cycle that leaves us another 7 whole days from a prospective release.

You're right Theolobias, however it's all part of the sickness.
For the record, It wasn't me this time :-)I will point out that the last beta release was I think Thursday to Tues, which shaved off a couple of days.Maybe we'll get lucky on thurs or friday ... here's to wishful thinking.
Fortunately for me the non-beta Logos is on my wife's computer so when I really need to export something I can jump on hers :-)

You think you are going through Beta withdrawals! [:O] Mac Beta 1 had so many bugs, I had to reinstall the stable version to even use it. Beta 2 had a bug that would not even allow me to log in. Melissa said that but would be fixed in the next release.

It seems to be that we could shave off several days if we alter the devs schedules like so:
Current:
Work 8:00am-6:00 pm
Travel home 6:00 - 6:30
Eat dinner 7:00 - 8:00
Sleep 9:00 -5:00am
Proposed modified schedule:
Work 4:00am-8:00 pm
Travel home while working on laptop 8:00 - 8:30
Eat dinner Eat chips while working from home 8:30-2:00am
Sleep while listening to CD's of audio recordings of uservoice issues...2:00am - 3am
Travel to work while working on laptop developing next beta.
Repeat.....

I will concede that they should be allowed a full hour for sleep; but the chips should be put away by 9pm. Anything beyond that is a distraction and will make them far less productive.

I haven't been suffering from index crashes, but I must admit I spend more time answering people's questions on the forums, finding and reporting typos and metadata problems, and tagging my new prepub resources which seem to arrive nearly daily, than actually reading the books I have in my Library. That's why I enjoy answering questions that have theological undertones (even though they are risky), because those ones actually get me studying the Bible and searching through my resources and learning something!
What's all this about "Travel home" and "Travel to work"? They can just unroll their sleeping bag under their desk and catch 40 winks. That will save the 30 minutes commute time each way.

I had a friend at Microsoft who actually did that! She was nuts, I mean seriously. Her boss and I had to physically walk her to her car one night so she'd go home and get some real sleep instead of "sleeping" under her desk for a couple of hours a night. We wouldn't want the Logos developers to get to the point where they needed intervention.

Wow - Tonight I REALLY needed to export a few pages from a book, only to discover this beta has a broken export module! Therefor, add me to the list asking for the next one, with a printing fix please. Of course, adding other good things would be welcome, but printing please ...

When I went to sleep as a child, it was always very noisy even though our nearest neighbors were half a mile away across the fields and you complained about traffic if you saw a second car on the gravel roads. All those pesky crickets and frogs were so noisy at bedtime.[;)]

Tue, Wed, or Thu seems typical for Logos Beta releases (from afternoon until evening).
I have given up on a beta for this evening. Soooo. why do I keep pressing F5? Oh dear I think I'm addicted.

Ha! I just hit the refresh button in my browser (out of habit, not really thinking to check if there was a new beta) and got a page that said "an error has occurred in processing your request." Maybe some mysterious "web intelligence" out there is trying to tell me something. [:)]
