Thanks Melissa.
Should we not expect any more new features in 4.3? I just want to manage my expectations. [:)]

Disappointing. [:(] Squashing bugs doesn't seem like a .x release. I'll try to stay hopeful.

Version 4.3 does include the new Justification and Hyphenation feature. At this point, I don't know the time table for other new features, and whether they'll make it into 4.3 or 4.3a.
Big letdown after all our beta hopes. Perhaps it's a lesson for us all not to get our expectations up too high for any new release. I'm so looking forward to PBB. It doesn't seem like such a big feature would be put into a .#a release, but I guess stranger things have happened.
I do appreciate all the bug fixes, but I am also wondering if they ARE adding code for new features without exposing the front-end. Something to think about:
I am SOOOOOOOOO ready for PBB, sermon file and a few other things, these thoughts tend to comfort me as I think things are moving forward after all.
Thank you Logos - for the wonderful Logos product, the opportunity to dream dreams (like the one above) and the opportunity to watch entertaining beta testers express their inner selves as they wait for the next big one. (I live in CA. This is like waiting and watching for the next big earthquake - lots of talk, lots of anticipation, all followed by a grand flurry of frantic activity when it finally comes.) [*-)]
I don't think I have ever seen a forum thread stop dead in its tracks as suddenly as this one did with my last post. As I pondered the inactivity and reread my last post I realized I did not express myself very well. I appreciate the technical skills, Biblical perspectives, dedication to the project and fellowship among the beta testers. It brings me joy (not entertainment) to follow along and learn from you.
My sincere apologies for disrupting the flow of thought and ideas. If I have offended you, please forgive me.

No worries, Tim. Don't blame yourself for stopping this thread. Typically the beta announcement posts do not even generate a thread. They used to lock them so there couldn't be any discussion (I presume to prevent people from posting bug reports in the beta announcement thread, which would get lost). It might have been an oversight that they didn't lock this one. I guess most people are used to not posting responses on these threads but rather starting a new thread if they have responses to a new beta release.
Anyway, there are so many threads on these forums, people cannot keep up with them all. So they all peter out after a while or we'd never get any other work done. That means every thread eventually has a last post. It's not a negative reflection on whoever posted that last post or the content of that post. It just happened to be the last one. People see from the subject line that it's a beta announcement, and if they've already read that thread they don't come back to read it again even if there's a new post on it. They don't expect it to be something interesting that might deserve a reply. Or if they do see that post, they have nothing else to add to it, so they move on.
Some people like being the last poster on a thread. They feel that means they got to have the last word. [:)]

I couldn't resist.
Me either[;)]
Me either
I'm above all that.
Hee hee. I knew I could count on some of you to not leave me as the last poster on this thread. I wouldn't want to go on being depressed thinking I had killed the thread.
We wouldn't do that to you Rosie!
